Nettux comes with a number of existing tools, with a few custom scripts and tools.

Standard Tools

These standard tools are installed:

• Mininet - Framework for building virtual networks and experimental SDN environments
• FRRouting - FRRouting routing procotol suite
• Faucet - SDN Controller
• Wireshark - GUI application for packet capture and analysis
• tcpdump - CLI application for packet capture and analysis
• Python 3 - For scripting

• netcat - The network swiss army knife

Custom Tools

• MiniEditNG - A rework of the original MiniEdit in the Mininet project.
• Scripts - Helpful scripts for network namespaces and virtual routers.
